Why We Rock At Energizing What We Don’t Want

 In energy healing, Lifestyle, spiritual

It’s awesome that people are excited to grab onto a social media phenomena in hopes to raise money for illness, but we might just be missing the mark. You see, since everything is energy, what we focus on is what we get more of. This means that by being ‘against’ anything, we are actually creating more of what we do not want.

Whatever we focus on is strengthened. What we deter our energy away from is lessened. It’s all a matter of selective attention and discernment. So far – we as a society don’t seem to get it because we keep championing things like ‘Anti-War, Anti-Terrorism, Fight Breast Cancer, Overcome Poverty.’ Unbeknown to many, this ‘push against’ thought process actually energizes war, terrorism, breast cancer, and poverty, etc. It’s not because we mean to put energy toward those things – we just don’t seem to know better…yet.

By abstaining from anti-anything and reverting our attention, time, focus, and money towards what we DO WANT, we can change this misappropriation of energy. For instance, instead of focusing on ‘beating cancer’ we could focus on attaining and keeping ‘vibrant health.’ This simple but powerful perspective switch allows the collective energy to flow toward what we truly do want at an exponential rate. It takes a bit of practice to get the swing of it, but in just a short time new thought patterns can be created in the brain and this new way of energizing what we want becomes second nature.

The intention behind huge foundations fighting disease is often noble. They spend billions of dollars (green energy) focusing on eradicating specific conditions. Can you imagine how the world would be if that same money was focused on wellness?

What we resist, persists.

I challenge you to focus for one week exclusively on what you do want in your life. If you are unwell, focus on your health. If you are challenged financially, focus on the money you do have. If you are lonely, focus on creating connection. I look forward to hearing about your discoveries!

Much love!
